SPC Philip Spakosky

Killed in Action: 14 May 2004 in Karbala, Iraq

SPC Philip Spakosky, 25, of Browns Mill, N.J., died on the day in 2004 of injuries sustained when he was shot by a enemy sniper in Karbala, Iraq the day before. Philip, was a tank crewman assigned to 1-37 AR. He is survived by his wife, Lakisha, a 3-year-old daughter, Mariah, and two stepchildren. Spakosky rests in the Columbarium of BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey. Please take time today to honor Phillip’s memory, his selfless service and noble sacrifice.
