SO2 Ryan Job, USN
Naval Special Warfare Task Unit Ramadi fighting with TF1-37 Armor
Born: 11 Mar 1981 in Issaquah, Washington
Died of Wounds: 24 Sep 2009 (aged 28) in Scottsdale, Arizona
Buried: Unknown 

On 2 August 2006 a joint patrol by B TM 1-37 AR and Naval Special Warfare Task Unit Ramadi attacked a group of Al Qaeda in Iraq insurgents in a house in the the heart of Ramadi. During that action small arms fire struck Ryan’s weapon and pieces of the shattered weapon tore through his face, severing one eye and damaging the nerves of the other, leaving him completely blind. After recuperating from his injuries at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., Job was discharged from the Navy. Ryan died in 2009 fro, complications following a complex 12-hour surgery to repair his eye socket.
