Killed in Action: 14 May 2004 in Karbala, Iraq
SPC Philip Spakosky, 25, of Browns Mill, N.J., died of injuries sustained when he was shot by a enemy sniper in Karbala, Iraq the day before. Philip, was a tank crewman assigned to 1-37 AR. He is survived by his wife, Lakisha, a 3-year-old daughter, Mariah, and two stepchildren.
