SPC Scott Q. Larson, Jr., 1-37 AR, was killed in action at age 22 when his convoy was ambushed in Baghdad, Iraq on this day in 2004. He died two weeks before he was to go on mid-tour leave. I did not know or serve with Larson, but from what I have gathered he was a young man of great Christian faith who found himself serving in the Army.
